Jake Gum is an award-winning director with a passion to connect with people by telling great stories. Having directed several original shorts over the years, he also has experience as an Editor and Assistant Editor on projects large and small. With software certifications from AVID and Adobe, Jake combines the technical side of editing with the creative. His latest credits include work as an Editor on the upcoming feature film, The Nurse, and as Director of the short The Lost Melody. 

With a passion for low-budget indie filmmaking based in realism, Jake’s ultimate goal in filmmaking remains the same: connect with others through the power of great stories.
